The gite Oustal is just a step or two away from the townhall of Oloron and the market hall with its Friday morning market. Pilgrims and visitors may visit the  nearby  Notre-Dame church,  stroll along banks of mountain streams running through the town, admire the  beautiful corbelled construction of the bearnaise houses, wander up to the district Sainte-Croix to take advantage of the view of the city and of the  Pyrenean mountain chain or visit the Unesco world heritage  classified Sainte Marie cathedral !!!

Oustal also welcomes trout and salmon fishermen wishing to profit from the famous mountain streams of Piedmont or the mountain lakes accessible  by the Aspe and Barétous valleys... More information on the site AAPPMA website
